Formed in 1997 Korporate Klowns is Dunedin based, owned and operated by Dave Harris also known as Mischief McKlown.
Dave has performed both nationally and internationally in a wide variety of areas.

In 2001 I studied and lectured in the United Kingdom at a Clowns International convention in Bolton. I had such a great time I decided to do it all again in 2003 running a USA based training course before spending a week in Finland in schools. I toured the United Kingdom teaching, performing and attending two conventions, Clowns International in Weston-Super-Mere and Holy Fools in St Albans. I have learnt from international award winning klowns such as Roly Bain, the duo of Sonny Daze and Rainbows End and the legendary Vercoe who has over 50 years clown experience working with the likes of Buster Keaton amongst others.

MISCHIEF, AND SIR HAROLD DAVIS

To give clients greater choice Dave has two different characters, a klown and a magician.
Mischief McKlown is Dave’s main character. A traditional klown known as an auguste with oversized shoes, plenty of garish greasepaint and a bright orange wig, Mischief is what an auguste klown looks and act likes. Mischief juggles, spins plates, balances performs magic and more with the optimism that if at first you do not succeed try again...and again. His cup is always half full and more. With experience from Finland to New Zealand, and performance at fairs, schools, churches, parties and more he can play the “fool” at any and all occasions. See here for pictures

Sir Harold Davis and Harry Davis. With two different characters Dave is more than “just” a magician. President of the Otago Magic Circle for 4 years and Inner Circle member he performs a wide range from stage acts to close up. 1999 he won the Otago Magic Circle Cup for the Best Stage Act and the Cup for the Best 12 minute Act and in 2007 he again won the Best Stage Act cup.. In 2001 he was invited to visit the London Magic Circle while in the UK and performed at the New Zealand Magicians convention in Auckland. His mixture of stand up comedy and magic has both adults and children laughing. He has won magician of the month of the Otago Magic Circle numerous times. As the previous Secretary he convened the committee that organised their 50th Anniversary. He escapes from his straightjacket in under a minute-most of the time.

SUMMARY
The overall philosophy of Korporate Klowns is that I am real klown, not someone dressed up as one. I regularly plan and practise sketches and magic. I keep in contact with klowns all over the world, and subscribe to several E-zines that come out weekly via E-mail. These goes out to around 6000 klowns and magicians around the world. Dave is a member of Clowns International, Holy Fools, the Magicians Union and the Otago Magic Circle Inner Circle. I pride myself in being  a professional providing fun entertainment for all ages, especially for children.
